Expertly handcrafted in our UK factory, the Maximus 1000 Pocket Mattress combines responsive pocket spring support with naturally comfortable fillings to provide an excellent balance of comfort, durability and support.
At the heart of the mattress are 1000 individually responsive pocket springs. Each spring works independently, adapting to your body shape, weight and movements throughout the night to provide targeted support exactly where it is needed.
Layered above the pocket spring system are carefully selected natural fillings, including British wool. Naturally breathable and temperature regulating, wool helps maintain a comfortable sleeping environment throughout the seasons while adding an extra layer of softness and comfort.
Offering a firmer tension, the Maximus 1000 provides enhanced support and is particularly well suited to back sleepers or those who simply prefer a firmer sleeping surface.
The mattress is traditionally hand tufted, securing the fillings firmly in place and encouraging even settlement while helping the mattress maintain its supportive structure and shape over time.
Designed as a single-sided mattress, the Maximus 1000 does not need to be turned. However, we recommend regularly rotating the mattress from head to toe to encourage even settlement and help prolong its lifespan.
