Mattress Types
Hybrid Mattresses (Most Popular)
Hybrid mattresses, also known as combination mattresses - include a layer of springs as well as a layer of foam, providing the best of both worlds when it comes to support and comfort. You can combine your ideal spring with your ideal foams, to create something truly suited to you.

- Suitable for: Back & Front Sleepers, Couples
Spring Mattresses
Pocket Sprung (Most Popular Spring)
Pocket sprung mattresses are constructed from a collection of individual springs, each in their own pocket. This provides superior support for couples, and stops you from rolling in to each other as you turn.
- Firmness: From Soft to Orthopaedic
- Price: ££
- Suitable for: Back & front sleepers, couples
Open Coil (Traditional)
Open coil mattresses are constructed from a series of connected springs. Open Coil springs are less suitable than pocket springs for couples, as they provide less support when turning - resulting in users rolling towards each other.
- Firmness: From Medium Soft to Orthopaedic
- Price: £
- Suitable For: Back sleepers, Budget conscious
Foam Mattresses
Memory Foam (Most Popular Foam)
Memory Foam mattresses are constructed from a thick layer of foam, and are designed to contour to the users body shape. Memory foam mattresses provide improved spine alignment, making them great for people with back problems. Memory Foam mattresses generally retain heat, and the more memory foam the more heat it will retain. If you’re a hot sleeper, you may want to consider a latex foam instead.

Latex
Latex mattresses are also composed of a thick layer of foam, designed to contour to your body shape. Latex mattresses retain less heat than memory foam mattresses, making them ideal for hot sleepers.

- Price: £££
- Suitable for: All sleep styles, hot sleepers, people with allergies
Mattress Comfort Grades
Each mattress has a different comfort grade, providing a number of options depending on your sleep style. If your sleep style falls under multiple comfort grades, then it’s best to consider your own personal preference.
